We began Lilla, Swedish for “little,” in 2009.  Inspired by Swedish design in its simple yet modern color combinations and lines, we have sought to embrace these designs when creating these distinct hair accessories.  Our name represents our valued Swedish heritage and captures our intended mission of living into the little girl moments (that are so quickly fleeting!) with our daughters.  We have also found a way to connect our passion as educators with Lilla in that we can support a nonprofit organization, littlethings, that helps girls gain an education in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Lilla is committed to making everyday moments special by impacting girls around the world.
